Orange's T-shirt is made from piezoelectric film which is capable to absorb ambient sound and convert into electricity by compressing tiny quartz crystals. It has the so-called Sound Charge designed to generates electricity and stored in a battery over the large part area of the garment that can be used to charge a phone. Working on increasing the speed and efficiency of the Sound Charge. It can work not even in a noisy environment but it can work as well in discreet area with similar charging performance.
You can see the prototype of the Sound Charge T-shirt in demo below held in Glastonbury Festival.
